Snow Possible Tuesday Night

Although temperatures were mild on Monday, winter weather could return to our area late Tuesday and early Wednesday.

Update: As of early Tuesday morning a Winter Weather Advisory had been issued by the National Weather Service for Northampton and Lehigh counties. According to the advisory, there is the potential for 2 to 4 inches of snow to fall overnight, with snow changing to sleet and freezing rain Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service says the Saucon Valley could receive a dose of wintry weather Tuesday night into Wednesday.

The forecast calls for rain and snow--becoming all snow after 4am--with up to an inch of snow possible. The chance of precipitation as of late Monday was forecast as near 100 percent.
