Snow Likely in Saucon Valley Friday Evening

Hellertown and Lower Saucon could receive 2 to 3 inches of snow later today, according to the National Weather Service.

A quick-moving storm is expected to bring snow to the Saucon Valley Friday afternoon and night, according to a hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service.

Snow could start falling late Friday afternoon and continue throughout the evening, creating hazardous travel conditions.

Two to three inches of the white stuff are possible, according to the NWS.

The Eastern Pennsylvania Weather Authority has predicted 1 to 3 inches of snow for the Lehigh Valley area, with higher amounts falling further south.

Two to four inches of snow are forecast by the EPWA for the Philadelphia area and southern New Jersey.
