Whether they're furry, fuzzy, leathery or feathery, pets are an important part of our lives. Pets have the ability to make us laugh when we're blue, to entertain us when we're bored, and most importantly, to love us unconditionally. Having a pet has even been shown to help reduce stress and anxiety and to combat the effects of illness as we age. More than simply companions, pets are our friends and in many cases, our family.
If you have a special pet in your life whose love you value, nominate him or her to be featured in our new "Saucon Valley Pet Parade."
To nominate your pet, e-mail us a clear photo, along with your pet's name, gender, name of favorite food, name of favorite activity, and a one or two paragraph description of what makes him or her special.
