Saucon Grad Plans Mission Trip to Thailand

A Saucon Valley graduate and former Hellertown resident, Janna Raudenbush, will travel to Thailand this May on a mission trip to help those victimized by the rampant Thai sex industry.

Raudenbush, who now lives in Washington, D.C., announced that she will spend 10 days serving The Well, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reaching out to Thai sex workers and empowering them to become agents of change. Part of the mission trip will take place in Bangkok, while the remainder will be served in a rural village in the Isan region of Thailand.

The mission trip is organized through National Community Church, a multi-site church in the D.C.-metro area that organizes more than 25 domestic and international mission trips each year.

Raudenbush graduated from Saucon Valley High School in 2005 and moved to Washington, D.C. after earning a B.A. at The College of New Jersey and an M.A. at the University of Maryland. She is currently employed by the Department of Health and Human Services as a Public Affairs Specialist.
