Reminder: Buy Pool Passes at Borough Hall

Hellertown Borough Manager has issued a reminder to local residents that season passes for the Hellertown Community Pool are only being sold at Borough Hall, 685 Main St., this year.

In the past, season passes have been available for advance purchase at the pool office.

Kichline said in a news release that the change in procedure is "due to the continued success of the Hellertown Pool and the growing number of season pool passes issued each year."

Pool passes can be purchased at Borough Hall during regular business hours, which are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and during the following special sale times:

• Wednesday, June 5, 6 to 8 p.m.
• Saturday, June 8, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Wednesday, June 12, 6 to 8 p.m.
• Saturday, June 15, 9 to 11 a.m. 

Season pool pass applications are available at Borough Hall or on the borough’s website under General Info./Forms & Documents.

Daily and season pass rate information is also published on the website's information page about the pool.

Proof of residency in either Hellertown or Lower Saucon Township is required to purchase a season pass at a discounted "resident rate."

Completed pass applications, along with copies of acceptable proof of residency and payment can be mailed to the Borough office, 685 Main St., Hellertown, PA 18055. Incorrect checks or lack of all required information will result in an application and check being returned, according to the news release.

Season pool passes will be available at the pool on opening day.

The pool's opening date is Saturday, June 15, 2013. It will remain open daily from noon to 7 p.m. through Aug. 23.
