Where's the Kirchberg?

If you live in the Hellertown area, it should be hard to miss it.

A large tree-covered "dome," this Lower Saucon hilltop is visible from many miles around in all directions.

Loosely translated from German, "Kirchberg" means "church hill."

The Kirchberg is located due east of Hellertown. It's particularly visible from Polk Valley Road (where this photo was taken) and , south of the campus.

Be sure to keep an eye on it come fall, when the trees that cover its slopes will turn brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow.
