Photo of the Day: Fresh and Lovely

This purple pansy was perfectly watered by a recent rain shower that passed through Hellertown.

Flowers get thirsty on hot afternoons--just like people. That's why this purple pansy planted in front of a Main Street, Hellertown home was literally perked up by a rain shower that passed through the borough on a recent afternoon.

Mother Nature waters plants and flowers on her own schedule, but we humans can do our part to help them stay hydrated by giving them their drink in the early morning or evening--times recommended by experienced gardeners.
