Pa. Pups Promote 'Puppy Bowl IX' in NYC

7 puppies from the Pennsylvania SPCA have been invited to promote Animal Planet's 'Puppy Bowl IX' in New York City this week.

The Pennsylvania SPCA and seven cute puppies in its care have been invited to New York City to promote "Puppy Bowl IX," Animal Planet's furry festival coming up on Super Bowl Sunday. 

They'll be in the Big Apple on Jan. 30, 31 and Feb. 1 to promote the show on "Good Morning America" and other media outlets.

Follow the adventure on Facebook and Twitter that highlight the importance of adopting animals from shelters while promoting Puppy Bowl IX.    

Pennsylvania puppies will be appearing on the following:

Wednesday, Jan. 30

  • "Good Morning America" 8:45 a.m.
  • "GMA Live" between 9-10 a.m.
  • Wall Street Journal Digital Network

Thursday, Jan. 31

Friday, Feb. 1

  • CNN Starting Point 6:45 a.m.
  • Fox & Friends 8:30 a.m.

Loved this pup. Is it adopted? We r lookn to adopt. We had to put our beloved 15 yr old to sleep last summer Ready to share our home. Please advise. Nfpmom@aol.com

Oh my gosh! He's so cute! I love that there is the puppy bowl. I wish they had more public "promotions" such as this throughout the year,not just at the Super Bowl. I know that alot of local TV stations show some dogs on their shows, but it sure seems the Puppy Bowl generates much more public interest in adoptions. It's so refreshing to see "non-puppy mill" puppies promoted and adopted to loving homes! Way to go!!
