Old Mill Bridge Rededication Planned

The recently renovated pedestrian bridge across the Saucon Creek in Lower Saucon Township will be rededicated during a ceremony April 17.

Lower Saucon Township officials have announced that an historic local bridge will be rededicated, following its recent restoration and repainting.

The Old Mill Bridge between Old Mill Road and Reading Drive is now a pedestrian bridge, although it once carried vehicular traffic across the Saucon Creek.

Built in 1867, the mint green span is a popular place for local fishermen to cast their lines.
