German Shepherd Found at Township Border

A male German Shepherd was recently found on the border between Bethlehem and Lower Saucon Township, in the area of Ringhoffer Road. His owner is being sought.

According to a posting Wednesday on the Lost and Found Pets of the Lehigh Valley area Facebook page, a male German Shepherd dog was found near the Bethlehem/Lower Saucon Township border Tuesday evening.

"He is a little scared right now and looks like he has been on his own for a while," wrote the author of the posting. "Get to know him and he warms right up. You can tell he just wants to go home!"

According to a Craigslist ad, the dog had no collar on, is not microchipped, and is neutered.

He was found in the area of Ringhoffer Road, according to that ad.

The dog is currently being cared for by the City of Bethlehem Police Department's Animal Control Office.
