Family Hopes for Return of Missing Dachshund

Lucee went missing in Hellertown on Saturday, Dec. 3. Her owner fears that someone may have stolen her.

A Hellertown woman is searching for her missing pet dachshund, and she's asked for help from the community via Hellertown Patch's Facebook page.

Christine Carey reported early Sunday that her family's beloved dog, Lucee, vanished this weekend.

It "is not like her to run away," she wrote, adding that she believes someone could have taken her.

When last seen, Lucee was wearing a purple collar. She gave birth to a litter of puppies just seven weeks ago, Carey said.

Anyone who may have information about Lucee or her possible whereabouts is asked to call 610-838-1014 or 484-554-5220.

I do believe Lucee was taken by someone, she didn't appear that she was out in the cold all night, she is a little dog. I believe it is the same person who called the police to complain that my dogs were scratching at MY door to get in. We are so thankful she is home safe and I would like to thank everyone who passed this story along, I am so grateful. Thank you.
