Expect Lane Restrictions on Easton Road for Gas Line Surveying

PennDOT also announced several other upcoming road projects in the Lower Saucon Township area.

Motorists should expect to encounter "intermittent lane restrictions with flagging" on Easton Road between the I-78 overpass and Mockingbird Hill Road in Lower Saucon Township beginning Monday, Dec. 2, and continuing through Friday, Dec. 13, PennDOT announced Wednesday.

According to the announcement, the restrictions will be in place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. while gas line surveying is performed by a PennDOT contractor.

PennDOT also announced the following upcoming road projects in the Lower Saucon area:

  • From Monday, Dec. 2 through Friday, Dec. 6, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., PennDOT maintenance forces will be sealing cracks on Applebutter and Lower Saucon roads between Shimersville Road and Redington Road. There will be a lane restriction with flagging.
  • On Monday, Dec. 2, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., PennDOT maintenance forces will be cutting brush on Easton/Raubsville Road between Ringhoffer and Hexenkoph roads. There will be a lane restriction with flagging.
  • On Thursday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 6, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., PennDOT maintenance forces will be cutting brush on Easton/Raubsville Road between Ringhoffer and Morgan Hill roads. There will be a lane restriction with flagging.
All of the scheduled work is weather dependent.
