Black Bear Spotted Near Giant Shopping Center
Patch reader BethAnn Seibel spotted a black bear near her home in Lower Saucon Township early Saturday.
A black bear was spotted on Mountain Hill Lane in Lower Saucon Township early Saturday.
Hellertown-Lower Saucon Patch reader BethAnn Seibel shared a photo of the bear, taken at about 6:30 a.m. in her yard near the Giant shopping center on Route 412.
"He stole the suet!" Seibel commented in an email.
Several other sightings of black bears have been reported in the Saucon Valley area this summer.
