Decisions, Decisions! How to Make the Right Choice.

First thing, don't ever make a choice based on anger or in the heat of the moment. Doing that will leave you with regret and possibly guilt. It will could also cause you to have more issues on your journey than need be.

All of us, whether we are aware or not, have gut feelings, good instincts, and can feel a tug in our heart. Using your intuitiveness is what will get you to where you really want to go. Our head just gets in the way. Why? Because our head is filled with past experiences, pain, regrets, guilt, unforgivenss, and so on. Our heart is based solely on love. Both our heart and gut are our connection to the Divine. When I am counseling my clients I tell them, "Put your head on a shelf for a minute. Now, without thinking make a choice." There is so much truth to following your heart.

If it still scares you to move forward with something because you have yet to release the past, try mediation. And start with a guided mediation about letting go. There are tons of free meditations on Youtube so don't think you have to go out and try to purchase a CD. Doreen Virtue, Lisa Beachy, Dr. Wayne Dyer, and Deepak Chopra are a few of the people who have guided meditations on youtube which I really enjoy. They aren't too long and all of their voices are soothing. Find a time that works for you and don't worry if you fall asleep. You just want to make sure you are somewhere where it is quiet and you will have no distractions.

Once you can let go of the past and you have forgiven every person and experience, you can make decisions so much easier. No worries about getting off and onto the wrong path of life. We all have one main road with a lot of detours. The detours are just the lessons we use our free will to learn. The detours are where we could meet certain people, experience a career, have an illness, etc. But we always get back on the main path. The only ones who are stuck in a detour are those who suffer from depression. They are stuck there because they cannot see a way out.

So let's decide right now to get rid of our regrets and all those; should have, would have, what if's. Nothing is a mistake. The only difference is if you are choosing things in a negative (head) or positive (gut and heart) way. Of course once you decide to follow your heart, you must allow your brains to help you take action. Just don't allow the past to control your mind.

Keep following your heart!!
