Landfill Public Hearing, Local Authors Night: Wednesday in Saucon Valley

7 p.m., Lower Saucon Township Council Public Hearing about rezoning land along Applebutter Road next to IESI Bethlehem Landfill, Saucon Valley High School, Audion room, 2100 Polk Valley Road, Hellertown. Security procedures and other rules will be in effect.
7 p.m., Local Authors Night, Barnes & Noble, 4445 Southmont Way (near Route 33 and Freemansburg Avenue), Easton. Fifty authors representing a wide variety of genres will participate in the biggest author event in the history of the store. Call the store at 610-515-0376 for a list of the authors scheduled to appear.
