Join Hellertown Historical Society, Lower Saucon Township Historical Society and Saucon Rail Trail organizations at the historic Heller-Wagner Grist Mill site for a day of historic activities, displays and demos describing early life in the Hellertown-Lower Saucon area. Simultaneous activities will also be offered by Saucon Valley Conservancy at the historic Michael Heller Homestead located at 1892 Friedensville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Both sites are accessible via the Saucon Rail Trail. Activities will be presented showing how early settlers in this area lived and grew. Many of these activities are child-friendly. Live animal demos and baby goats (weather-permitting) will be on hand for children to see and pet. Free horse-drawn carriage rides, a Maypole, cake walk, raffle and so much more will be offered. Geaker’s Tacos Food Truck will be onsite to satisfy any appetite! Visit these two charming, historic sites and discover how this area was founded and flourished. Free off-street parking is available nearby each site. All are welcome and it is free to attend.
