The Heller Homestead, 1890-92 Friedensville Road, Lower Saucon Township, is exhibiting watercolor and oil paintings by David Lee of Whitehall Township from Sept. 8 to Dec. 16, 2012.
Lee's style of painting is considered confident and bold, yet carefree. He is a graduate of the State University of New York and studied at the New York Art Students’ League and the Baum School of Art.
The exhibit is open Saturdays 1 to 4pm and Sundays noon to 3pm (Sundays in December, 1 to 4pm). An exhibit reception will be held Dec. 3 (snow date: Dec. 4) from 7 to 9pm.

More About Heller Homestead
The Heller Homestead is a historic site which was home to the Heller family and is presently under the stewardship of the Saucon Valley Conservancy, which is headquartered there. The Saucon Valley Conservancy a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the historical and natural environment in the area. The homestead features period-furnished rooms and houses an art gallery featuring rotating exhibits by local artists, as well as a gift shop that accepts consignments and donations. In 2010, the homestead was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
