Wood-Chopping Sparked Roommate Ruckus, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say they responded to a disturbance involving two Connelly Avenue roommates.

A March 5 disturbance involving two roommates will result in a harassment citation for one of the men, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release.

Police said they responded to a report of a "domestic between roommates" in the 2100 block of Connelly Avenue at 5:40 p.m.

After arriving, police say officers determined that Justin E. Zapka had pushed Timothy Hottenstein onto a table, knocking over a lamp. The dispute began because Hottenstein was splitting wood, which "disturbed" Zapka, police said.

There were no injuries, according to police.
