On Monday afternoon a woman was reportedly struck twice by a car in the Giant Food Store parking lot at 1880 Leithsville Road in Lower Saucon Township, according to a story published by The Morning Call.

The newspaper said an ambulance was dispatched to the parking lot at 4:20pm and cited police radio reports that indicated the 50-year-old woman was conscious and "not pinned" following the accident.

The woman was reportedly taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill following the accident, although her condition was not available Monday night, the newspaper said.

Another accident involving a pedestrian, in which a motorist was cited, occurred in the Lower Saucon Giant parking lot in late December.
