Woman Charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alprazolam

The following incidents have been reported by the Lower Saucon Township Police Department:
- DUI-Controlled Substance - On March 22 at 9:15am police stopped Nicole Lynn Goeppert, 19, of 6300 Woodfern Drive, Upper Saucon Township, for allegedly following another vehicle closely. Goeppert was stopped at Route 378 and East Oakhurst Drive, police said, and failed field sobriety tests. Goeppert was found to be under the influence of the drug Alprazolam and was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, police added.
- DUI - On April 9 at 2:38am police stopped Eric Benjamin Cogorno, 22, of 33o N. Broad St. Extension, Nazareth, for allegedly failing to maintain a lane of travel on Route 378. According to police, Cogorno subsequently failed field sobriety tests and was found to have a blood alcohol concentration of .16 percent. Cogorno was charged with DUI, police said.
- Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Underage Drinking - On April 24 at 1:01am police stopped a vehicle operated by Tyler Grays, 20, of 1438 Ferry St., Easton, for an alleged traffic violation. Grays, who was stopped at Kichline and Butternut roads, was cited for driving with a suspended license, police said. A passenger in Grays' vehicle, identified as Jordan Miller, 20, of 228 S. Watson St., Palmer Township, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, police added. A second passenger in the vehicle, identified as Chantel Young, 20, of 2772 Red Oak Circle, Bethlehem, was cited for underage drinking, according to police.
