When roosters attack, things can get pretty ugly. And that's exactly what happened on Skibo Road May 12, Lower Saucon Township police reported in a recently issued press release.

After receiving an animal complaint and arriving at Delancy Street to take a report, police say they learned that an adult female victim had been attacked by a rooster while walking with friends along a Skibo Road sidewalk.

Police said that according to the woman, the rooster "kicked its legs and spurs at her, piercing her in the legs, (and) causing puncture wounds" and bruising to her legs.
