Should DA Morganelli Run for Lieutenant Governor?

Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli says he is considering a run for lieutenant governor.

PoliticsPa reports that Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli is considering a run for lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania in 2014.

Morganelli -- who was the Democratic nominee for attorney general in 2008 -- told PoliticsPa that he still has a "solid" statewide campaign organization in place and $260,000 of campaign money.

According to his website:

Morganelli was elected district attorney in 1991 at the age of 35. He was re-elected in 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011. He served as president of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys' Association 1999-2000.

I believe that John Morganelli would make an excellent Lieutenant Governor. We need someone who will place the needs of the people over the needs of big business.
