Saucon Valley Woman Turns 105
Minnie Poulton, who lives at Mary Ellen Convalescent Home in Lower Saucon Township, will celebrate her 105th birthday Thursday.
A Saucon Valley resident will celebrate a very special birthday and a remarkable milestone Thursday.
Minnie Poulton, of Lower Saucon Township, will turn 105, WFMZ-TV reported Saturday.
Poulton is a resident of Mary Ellen Convalescent Home, where she impressed family members and friends at a party Saturday by reciting poems she learned as a girl, an article published by WFMZ indicated.
The residents of Mary Ellen Convalescent Home recently impressed local volunteer firefighters by contributing money toward the Leithsville Building Fund.
The generous gesture will help Se-Wy-Co and Leithsville volunteers rebuild the Leithsville fire station, which was destroyed in a fiery fatal dump truck accident in May.
