Report: Hellertown Woman Allegedly Stole $20,000 from Senior Housing Group

Martha Vincent, 49, has been executive director of the Shepherd's organization in Monroe County for several years

 

The Pocono Record is reporting that a Hellertown woman has turned herself in to authorities as she faces charges of ripping off a senior housing organization called the Shepherd's.

Martha Vincent, 49, stole close to $20,000 by forging checks, altering documents and making unauthorized credit card charges, authorities say. Vincent, executive director of the organization, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Mountainhome on May 5.

How sad that someone takes money from their employer and even sadder it was from our senior citizens. I hope she repents and realizes that greed is not worth the risk of ruining ones self respect and good name
