Hellertown-Lower Saucon Patch readers have named Rave Motion Pictures Promenade 16 the best movie theater in the local area.
In this week's Readers' Choice poll, Rave--which is located in The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township--received 66 percent of the vote.
A 16-screen cinema that also presents IMAX films and shows free family-friendly movies during the summer months, Rave was brand new to the area when it opened in 2006.
Rave theaters feature stadium seating and other modern amenities.
The runner-up movie house in the poll was the historic Emmaus Theatre, which received 20 percent of the total vote.
