Police: Township Man Became 'Very Irate' at Officers

Lower Saucon Township Police say William Broad, of 4303 Lower Saucon Road, became irate Aug. 23, after officers responded to his home because his tractor knocked over a street sign.

A Lower Saucon Township man was cited for disorderly conduct Aug. 23, after he allegedly became angry and screamed obscenities at police officers at his home.

In a press release, police said William Broad, of 4303 Lower Saucon Road, "became very irate" with the officers, who responded to his home in the middle of the afternoon.

Police said Broad--who last year was accused of exposing himself to a neighbor-- initially called police to report that a street sign had been knocked over by his tractor.

Broad was also reported to be in a dispute with a neighbor last year.

He was cited because he shouted the obscenities while "there were neighbors within hearing distance, as well as Broad's juvenile son," police said.
