Borough police announced Tuesday that they are investigating a hit-and-run accident that allegedly occurred at the Top Star Exxon gas station Nov. 9.

In a press release police said they were called to the station at 1570 Main St. at 3:30pm.

The victim reported that she had left her car parked at the station at 9:30am. When she returned at 3:30pm, police said, she found it had been moved approximately three feet.

There was also damage to the vehicle's rear right side, authorities added.
