Police Investigating Saxophone Theft from Classroom

Lower Saucon Township police say a Selmer alto saxophone valued at approximately $1,000 went missing from a fifth grade classroom at Saucon Valley Middle School March 9.

 

For one unfortunate Saucon Valley student, the "day the music died" was March 9, 2012.

That's the day Lower Saucon Township police say a Selmer alto saxophone valued at approximately $1,000 was stolen from a fifth grade classroom at Saucon Valley Middle School.

Police said in a press release that the sax was taken after it was left behind by a student at about noon.

Anyone with information regarding the theft of this musical instrument is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department at 610-317-6110.
