Police: East Saucon Street Man Assaulted Woman

Hellertown police have also reported that a vehicle parked at Britts Tire, 934 Main St., was damaged when an unknown person threw a "boulder" through its driver's side rear window Feb. 28. Police are seeking information regarding that incident.
The following incidents have been reported by the Hellertown Police Department:
- DUI - On Feb. 11 at 1:25am, police stopped Skyler P. Gall, 19, of 1325 First Ave., Hellertown, for an alleged traffic violation in the area of East Clarke Street and First Avenue. Police subsequently arrested Gall on suspicion of DUI and say he was determined to have a blood alcohol concentration of .02 percent.
- Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Access Device Fraud - On Feb. 14 police say a man came to Hellertown police headquarters to report that he had lost a check card and that transactions had been made with it since it had been lost and without his permission. After collecting information about the times of the transactions as well as video evidence, police say they identified Jaimie Lake-Christman, 24, of 1046 Third Ave., Hellertown, as the suspect who had committed the unauthorized transactions. Police say that when Lake-Christman was interviewed at headquarters she admitted to making the transactions. Lake-Christman has been charged with theft, receiving stolen property and access device fraud.
- Simple Assault, Harassment (Domestic Violence) - On Feb. 25 police say Douglas Dehaven, 36, of 103 E. Saucon St., Hellertown, assaulted a female victim at his address. According to police, at 11:26pm the unidentified victim reported that she had been assaulted by Dehaven and exhibited signs of recent injury. Dehaven was subsequently arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment, and was later committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $20,000 bail.
- Criminal Mischief to Vehicle - On Feb. 28 at 8:30 am police responded to Britts Tire, 934 Main St., for a report of criminal mischief to a customer's vehicle. According to police, the vehicle's driver's side rear window was shattered when someone threw a boulder through it, causing approximatey $174 in damage.
