I'm glad they caught the perpetrator of the act, but sad it was someone so young. Hopefully getting caught this time will stop this kid from doing anything else like this or worse in the future.

I think the teen that did this should have to repair the damage with his own hands and pay for it by working in the community. This teen also needs to go visit a prison to see what happens to adults when they make wrong choices. This person needs to own up to what he did and if I was his parent I would take out a page in the Newspaper and apologize for my actions and ask for forgiveness and make my son make it up to the community. Shame is a good thing because it may stop you from this behavior.

Where are the parents? I do not claim to be a perfect parent. I just wonder why is this kid {girl} running the streets destroying property? If the parents are working, isn't there a neighbor or family member who could pitch in and mentor the child? What happened to the times when we actually helped each other.Now it seems like it's every man or KID for themselves.

Sue, why would someone demand someone else watch their child? No wonder some kids are having trouble. Well, like I said, we should all try to help each other. My neighborhood is fabulous like that . We all watch out for each others children because they can't be replaced. I am fortunate in that respect.
