Pit Bull Puppy Found in Hellertown

The black male puppy was found in the vicinity of High Street on Tuesday morning.

 

A male pit bull puppy was found in the vicinity of High Street in Hellertown Tuesday morning, and its owner is being sought, the borough announced via email.

The puppy is described as "friendly" and is black in color.

Anyone with information related to the dog's ownership should contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040 or the borough office at 610-838-7041.

As of this year, stray dogs picked up in Hellertown are cared for by police in a small kennel near the Saucon Rail Trail on West Walnut Street, until they can be reunited with their owners or found new homes.
