Photos of the Day: Hellertonian Has a 'Leg Lamp'

A replica of the iconic "leg lamp" featured in the 1983 film "A Christmas Story" is displayed in the window of borough resident Krissy Koch Boyle. A fan of the film and the lamp, Boyle bought it at A Christmas Story House and Museum in Cleveland.

In the film "A Christmas Story" (1983), a lamp shaped like the leg of a woman is won by Mr. Parker, who considers it "a major award." The provocative lamp becomes a source of conflict between Mr. and Mrs. Parker until it is mysteriously broken while there's no glue in the house.

I'm sorry this doesn't meet your standard for reportable news. I thought it was a fun story--which I think people need to hear about, especially in light of recent tragedies. Happy holidays.

If you don't like it then don't read it. No need to be rude.
