Obituary: John J. Lancsek, 83, Formerly of Hellertown

Formerly of Hellertown, John J. Lancsek, 83, died Jan. 7, 2012. He was a veteran of World War II.

 

John J. Lancsek, 83, formerly of Hellertown, died Jan. 7, 2012. He was the husband of the late Gizella (Kardos) Lancsek. He served his country honorably during WWII. He was an electrician at the former Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

Surviving are daughter-in-law, Susan Lancsek; and granddaughters, Dayna and Krysta Lancsek, all of Bethlehem; siblings: Steven Lancsek, and his wife, Rose, of Allentown; Eleanor, wife of Nicholas Perrett, of Fountain Hill; and Esther Weightneckt, of Bethlehem; and long-time companion, Erma Nagy. He was pre-deceased by his children: Gary S. Lancsek, and Kim Lancsek-Ruppert.

Services will be at 11am on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main St., Hellertown. A viewing will be from 10 to 11am. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Hellertown. To offer online condolences, please visit www.falkfuneralhomes.com.
