Men Caught Peeing in Park, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say two men were cited for disorderly conduct after they were allegedly observed urinating outside their truck in the lower lot at Polk Valley Park.

Although they were within sight of an unoccupied portable toilet, Lower Saucon Township Police say two men decided to urinate outside their truck, which police said was parked in the lower lot at Polk Valley Park at the time.

In a news release, police said Tim Reppert, of Whitehall, and James Rex, of North Catasauqua, "were observed urinating outside their utility truck in the open parking lot of the public park" on Feb. 7 at approximately 8:50 a.m.

Police said the truck was parked "just feet away" from the portable toilet.

Both Reppert and Rex were issued citations for disorderly conduct, police said.

Oh, for God's sake! Pisseth and peeing are not the same words. Using either of them is very "common".!

Unlike the poor sanitation truck driver that was cited for the same up on Wilhelm rd. these guys definitely deserve it.

To answer the question, if a lady were caught doing it, she would surely get a citation for indecent exposure. So I would say what is good for the goose is good for the gander.!

Me thinketh that we all engage in the same eliminatory functions so it matters not what they are called. Pisseth seemeth close to piss. Josh's use of peeing is, if not heaven sent, certainly common (in both senses).. And, my dear Mary Anne, no "lady" would do that, never mind the gander.

I beg to differ my dear Joel! There are times when, your choice is the car seat or the bushes, that even a "lady" will choose the bushes! LOL

Barring doing this while children were present because of the nature of location being a park this is ridiculous on so many levels. First, the portable toilets are typically so disgusting and unsanitary that I myself would much rather go outside and do if necessary. Second, now these men will probably lose their jobs and I believe if convicted may be subject to Megan's Law requirements. What's wrong with these cops? Are they so desperate for the need to assert power and control that they would jeopardize their fellow men's career's and privacy? These men may have families and children to support. Clearly, poor judgement at most but the potential implications far outweigh an error in human behavior that caused no harm to anyone nor threatens the community they are paid to serve in any shape or form.

I agree Mike . the implications far out way the act. I say a simple citation would have sufficed without the charge.
