Man Allegedly Sold Heroin on Borough's Main Street

Katon D. Williams, 35, of Allentown, is facing felony drug charges after allegedly selling heroin in the 100 block of Main Street in Hellertown July 12.

 

An Allentown man allegedly observed selling heroin in the 100 block of Main Street in Hellertown is facing felony drug charges, according to court papers.

Katon D. Williams, 35, of 135½ Green St., was spotted making a transaction by officers from the Northampton County Drug Task Force, who were conducting surveillance in the area on Thursday afternoon, according to an arrest warrant on file.

A search of Williams' car, a BMW X5, revealed that he had more heroin stored there, the warrant says. He was also carrying $2,130 in cash.

Williams was charged with delivery of heroin and possession with intent to deliver heroin and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail, following his arraignment before night duty District Judge Patricia Romig-Passaro of Bethlehem.
