Woman Charged With Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
On Jan. 20 at approximately 3:04am police say Kristina Fenstermaker, of the 1100 block of Main Street, Hellertown, was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped at the Sanbrook Apartments on Black River Road. Police said that as a result of the stop, the driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI. In a press release, police noted that at the time of the stop, Fenstermaker was "found to be in possession of a smoking device which tested positive for use of marijuana." She has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, they added.
Man Arrested for DUI Following Bingen Road Traffic Stop
On Feb. 19 at 1:27am police say they stopped Randall Koder Jr., of the 1300 block of Main Street, Hellertown, for allegedly speeding on Bingen Road. Police said in a press release that while speaking to Koder, an officer "observed several signs of intoxication about (him)." Koder subsequently failed field sobriety tests, police said, and was arrested for DUI. He was later determined to have a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .17 percent, they added.
Police: Man Charged With Possessing a Small Amount of Marijuana Was in South Mountain Park After Hours
On Feb. 19 at 5:40am police say Andrew Labanz, of the 1500 block of Greenview Drive, Bethlehem, and his girlfriend were found in the rear seat of a car "in a dark section of South Mountain Park's parking lot." The park is located on Mountain Drive. Police said in a press release that while an officer "investigated what was going on and why the two were in the park after hours, Labanz advised police that he had marijuana in a pipe in the car." Labanz and his girlfriend, who police did not identify in the press release, were released, and Labanz has been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, police said.
Police Investigating Smashed Window on Buttermilk Road
On Feb. 19 at 11:09pm police say a kitchen window was found to have been smashed at a residence in the 2700 block of Buttermilk Road. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department at 610-317-6110.
Couple Engaged in Sexual Activity in Shopping Center Parking Lot, Police Say
On Feb. 20 at 11:39pm police say Catherine Wenzel, of Warwick, N.Y., and Simon Woolbert, of Zion Grove, Pa., were found to be "engaging in sexual activity in the back of Woolbert's Dodge Durango outside the Regal Cinema located in (the) Saucon Square (shopping center) on (Route) 378." Police said in a press release about the incident that both were cited for disorderly conduct and released. Police also said that both Wenzel and Woolbert are students at DeSales University in Upper Saucon Township.
Police Investigating Criminal Mischief on Lower Saucon Road
On Feb. 25 police say someone scratched profanity onto and attempted to pry open the door of a vehicle belonging to Chris Sellers, of the 4000 block of Lower Saucon Road, Lower Saucon Township. Police said the vandalism occurred during the overnight hours. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Lower Saucon police at 610-317-6110.
Woman Backed into Other Vehicle in Giant Parking Lot, Police Say
On Feb. 28 at approximately 5:13pm police say Pamela Gordon, of the first block of Dewbourne Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, backed out of a parking spot without looking at Giant Food Store, 1880 Leithsville Road, Lower Saucon Township. Police said in a press release that Gordon struck another vehicle in its passenger side door as she backed out. There were no injuries reported as a result of the accident and both vehicles were driven from the scene, police said. Gordon will receive a citation for "unsafe backing," according to authorities.
