Local Students Graduate from NCC

A number of Hellertown students recently graduated from Northampton Community College.

 

Northampton Community College in Bethlehem Township has announced that the following Hellertown-area graduates were recognized at a commencement ceremony held Jan. 28, 2012 at the school. Almost 750 NCC students who completed associate's degrees, specialized diplomas or certificates in August or Decemberr 2011 were recognized.

David Caton, Associate in Arts degree

Phyllis Coronado, Associate in Applied Science degree

Nicholas Ferrani, Associate in Applied Science degree

Carol Hauff, Certificate

David Kempf, Associate in Applied Science degree *

Rebecca Phetsavanh, Associate in Applied Science degree *

Shayna Snyder, Associate in Applied Science degree

Matthew Weiss, Associate in Arts degree

Jessica Zimpfer, Associate in Applied Science degree

* Received a nursing pin at a Jan. 28 candelight ceremony for 67 graduates of the NCC nursing program. The pins and the reciting of the Nightingale Pledge signify the rite of passage from the role of student to that of graduate nurse.
