The following alleged incidents have been reported by the Hellertown Police Department:

Police Investigating Theft of Metal Solar Light

On Aug. 24 at 11:30am police say they were called to a home in the 1300 block of Second Avenue, where a resident reported the theft of a metal solar light. Police say the light was removed from the front of the home sometime during the night. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-759-2200.

Police Investigating Theft of Plastic Letters from Church Sign

On Aug. 24 at 1:26pm police say they were called to St. George’s Episcopal Church, 735 Delaware Ave., where the theft of plastic letters from one of the church’s signs was reported. Police say the letters were removed from the sign sometime between Aug. 20 and Aug. 24. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-759-2200.

Police Investigating Theft of Air Conditioner

On Sept. 3 at 12:11pm police say they were called to a home in the first block of Bachman Street to investigate the theft of an air conditioner. Police say the air conditioner was removed from the home’s kitchen sometime the night before. Anyone with information regarding its theft is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-759-2200.

Woman Possessed Altered or Forged Documents, Police Say

On Sept. 9 police say Wendy Jean Alercia, 45, of the 6600 block of Route 309, Upper Saucon Township, was stopped for a traffic violation in the 700 block of Main Street at 3:27pm. Alercia was subsequently arrested on a charge of altered or forged documents, arraigned and released on bail, police said.
