Hellertown Hit-and-Run Accident Under Investigation

Hellertown Police say the Jan. 29 accident occurred at the intersection of Washington and Ackerman streets.

 

Hellertown Police announced Monday that they are seeking the public's help in identifying the driver responsible for a Jan. 29 hit-and-run accident that occurred at the intersection of Washington and Ackerman streets.

In a press release, police said the owner of the car that was struck--a dark grey Nissan Altima--reported that it was parked at that intersection when it was damaged.

Police said the car's driver's side fender was reportedly damaged.

The accident is believed to have occurred between 10am and 3pm on Jan. 29, 2013, according to authorities.

Anyone with information related to the accident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040.
