Garbageman Peed on Roadside, Police Say
Lower Saucon Township Police say a Raritan Valley Disposal employee was cited for disorderly conduct Nov. 29, after he was allegedly observed urinating next to his garbage truck on Wilhelm Road.
A Raritan Valley Disposal employee landed in hot water Nov. 29, when Lower Saucon Township Police say he was found urinating in public in the 3700 block of Wilhelm Road.
In a press release police said William W. Schrade, 51, of Rural Route 5, Saylorsburg, Pa., was observed by a township police officer peeing beside his garbage truck at about 10:47am.
"(Schrade) related to officers that he did it because he didn't think many people travel on the roadway, so he hoped that nobody would see his action," police said.
Schrade has been cited for disorderly conduct via mail, authorities added.

I would venture to say this happens quite a bit! I was stuck behind a garbage truck in the alley behind Dun`'kin Donuts, driver was in the truck, one man was just standing by the truck and I kept thinking what the heck are they doing? After waiting about 4 minutes the guy who was standing by the truck walked between two garages and he and another guy who I hadn/t seen before came out from between the garages with the trash. Now what could that one guy have been doing all that thime??? I imagine that if a policeman had not observed this it would probably go unmentioned. How come it ok for fisherman, hunters, golfers, hikers etc to relive themselves in public, but a working stiff doing an unwanted job gets cited??

I would bet that Mr. Schrade is an undiagnosed Type 2 Diabetic and doesn't realize that frequent urination is one of the prime symptoms as a red flag. I suspect that if you or I had reported the event, it would have been treated like a joke. Or if the urinator was a chum, he may have been given a high 5 and a warning. I believe that if I would have called the Police to report the two different incidences of two different neighbors who appeared to pantomime urination in clear view of our home in broad day light to get our attention, the Police would have treated me like a fool. If William had a profession higher on the Totem pole, this would be a none event.

I am glad our township is so crime free that this is all our police have to worry about. Besides of course the sex in the parking lot last week!

What my family finds astounding is that we have a bullet hole in the shade of our dusk to dawn security light that appears to have come from a gun fired from the region of a neighbor's home . The police report never even interviewed what we believe are the two prime suspects that the Police are fully aware of. Is this a joke?
Who determines the Priorities? The thought that someone stood there, aimed and pulled the trigger is chilling. What is to prevent them from doing it again? So this urination arrest seems out of whack in retrospect. I am sure if the circumstances were that William could have been more discreet, he probably would have made a better choice. No one is advocating public urination, but circumstance need to be a consideration.

So let me get this straight... A man gets caught doing something he isn't supposed to be by an officer and gets cited for it. Notice the result to his offense was being cited. not arrested. All of the sudden people are complaining because the police did their job?
What would have happened if the officer was not there? Nothing, however he still did something wrong. Wrong place at the wrong time.
If you don't like the laws the either go to the right people to have them changed or move somewhere where those laws and condoned... I don't know maybe Mexico overlooks those things.
