Cheerleaders Capture First at Ocean City Nationals
Saucon Valley cheerleaders competed in the "Reach The Beach" national championships last weekend, with Team Spirit and the Mighty Minis capturing first place trophies.
They may not have won that preceded their trip, but the Saucon Valley cheerleaders who competed in the "Reach The Beach" national championships in Ocean City, Maryland last weekend still came away winners.
The Mighty Minis and Team Spirit squads both won first place trophies, and team members received national championship jackets in recognition of their wins.
Supporter and "cheer mom" Tara Reccek also reported that the squad brought home a second place trophy, and that the girls captured fourth place in the competition.
