Boy Started Fires in Park Toilets, Police Say

Hellertown Police say a boy who started fires in Water Street Park toilets has been charged with criminal mischief and dangerous burning.

 

A boy who allegedly lit things on fire inside portable toilets in Water Street Park near the Saucon Rail Trail was referred to juvenile authorities on charges of criminal mischief and dangerous burning, Hellertown police said in a news release.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the park at 5:21 p.m. Jan. 22.

Dewey Fire Company also responded, police said.

Authorities said charges were filed following an investigation.

Innocent until proven guilty. I don't always agree with that but I'm not the law.

If proven guilty, I'm sure the perp would learn from his mistake by spending an hour a day inside those facilities, cleaning them with a toothbrush
