My friend who is 85 lost his Rottweiler dog a year ago to cancer. He has been totally depressed since then. He has been trying to find a Rotti puppy for some time. Pat and Donna were walking the rail trail and met with Rhonda. Rhonda said she knew a woman that lived in Wind Gap who had Rotti mix puppies that were eight weeks old. We got Rhonda's phone number but didn't have paper to write it down on. By the time we got back to the car, we had gotten the number mixed up. I told my old friend about the puppies and he has been sick, he wants one so bad. Rhonda lives on Black River Road, works for the Morning Call, walks her lab in the country club area and rides her bike on the rail trail. Please, if you know her phone number or address, call me so we can get Walt a puppy. My number is 610-838-2137.

There are so many dogs killed everyday in the country because they can't find homes. Please adopt!

Your friend is 85 so this comment is not meant to be rude but there is a strong possibility that a puppy will outlive him. Please contact local animal shelters to see if a Rottie is available. At least have him make sure someone can care for the dog in the event he is no longer able.
