In honor of American Heart Month, the Saucon Valley boys varsity basketball team will hold its first ever Red Out game Monday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. to benefit the American Heart Association and raise awareness of heart disease in the community.
The team is asking everyone who attends to wear red to support their efforts. Exclusive Red Out event t-shirts will be available to those who make a $10 donation, with the proceeds going directly to the American Heart Association.
There will be a hands-only CPR demonstration, heart health education for all ages, memorial hearts at the game and special survivor guests. During halftime, the team will be inviting all participants to come down to the court and walk in remembrance of those we have lost and in celebration of survivors of heart disease.
